Mai 2019 aktivierte ein Team vom Amateurfunkclub Heidenreichstein (AFCH) bestehend aus OE3MFC &#8211; Maria, OE3 RGB \u2013 Rainer, OE1TKS \u2013 Tom und SWL Helga bei halbwegs annehmbaren Wetterbedingungen die sch\u00f6nste und eindrucksvolle mittelalterliche <strong>Burgruine<\/strong>\u00a0 <strong>Kollmitz<\/strong> im nord\u00f6stlichen Waldviertel bei Raabs\/Thaya. Diese Aktivierung erfolgte unter dem Sonderrufzeichen <strong>OE10WCA<\/strong> anl\u00e4sslich 10 Jahre WCA- <strong>W<\/strong>orld <strong>C<\/strong>astle <strong>A<\/strong>ward. Die Burgruine Kollmitz \u00a0hat die <strong>WCA<\/strong>-Nummer: <strong>OE-00092<\/strong> und COTA-OE Nummer: <strong>OE-30092<\/strong>. Zum Einsatz kam wieder das Notfunkeqiupement vom AFCH.<br \/>\nDie Burg Kollmitz wurde im 13. Jahrhundert zur Grenzsicherung gegen B\u00f6hmen errichtet. Sie steht auf einem Felsen, der von der Thaya umflossen wird. \u00a0Die Mauern mit zwei runden Eckt\u00fcrmen sind die Reste einer der gr\u00f6\u00dften, einst weitl\u00e4ufigen, <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mittelalter\">mittelalterlichen<\/a>, bedeutendsten Burganlagen <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nieder%C3%B6sterreich\">Nieder\u00f6sterreichs<\/a>. Der halbkreisf\u00f6rmige <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Torturm\">Torturm<\/a> mit <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Spitzbogen\">Spitzbogentor<\/a>, der <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hungerturm_(Bauwerk)\">Hungerturm<\/a>, der <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bergfried\">Bergfried<\/a> und Reste eines zweigescho\u00dfigen Wohngeb\u00e4udes sowie verschiedener anderer Bauteile sind erhalten.
